The Shah of Iran: Decadence and Downfall BBC

This is a MUST watch if you're interested in Iran today.  A fantastic review of Iran's 2500th birthday and how it related to the downfall of the Shah.  I would title it "Two ways to NOT run a country"

Too long for me to want to watch at this time. The Shah may not have been what we would consider to be a great leader but at least under the Shah of Iran women had the freedom were to wear what they wanted to wear bikinis and all. But the Taliban Islamist dictators that took over from the Shah quickly put an end to all of that. Cover up girls or else. And recently one Muslim women stood up in public square in Tehran and took her head piece off. I wonder what happened to her after she did that? Is she now in jail, whipped or was stoned to death. Curious.
