Should we get under our desks?
« on: October 01, 2022, 05:28:35 pm »
The use of a nuclear weapon in the Ukraine is very high according to this source.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/policy/defense-national-security/ukraine-russia-nuclear-risk-very-high

Any thoughts on this potential escalation of the war? My own feeling is that there would be a coup if he outright said anything about it to his inner circle. I do not know Russia's fail safe systems (if any) but the article hinter that there is more than just presidential authority that would be needed to make the decision of the release of nuclear weapons, whether strategic or tactical.

Itís getting pretty scary now.  I would agree, I think they take care of Putin internally if he goes down that route.  Iím still trying to figure out why thereís been so little effort in trying to negotiate a cease fire or peace deal.  When Israel and Hamas go to war, within two or three days, the entire western world is calling for negotiations.  But itís been several months of silence.  Itís almost like we want the war to continue.  Biden sends tens of billions each month to Ukraine, along with a constant supply of weapons.  But no envoys, or diplomatic teams sent in any efforts for peace.  Now anti-war demonstrations here or in Europe either.  Itís bizarre.

so-called battlefield tactical nukes... not governed by international treaties - lower explosive yields & shorter-range delivery vehicles. Some countries have eliminated their tactical nukes given their explosive force is not much greater than that of increasingly powerful conventional weapons. Of course if Russia was to deploy a tactical nuke in Ukraine how might reaction/response escalate to a strategic nuclear level?

The mainstream media shovels you propaganda on a constant basis, and you eat it up like itís peanut butter.  I feel sorry for people as naive as you.

Even the Russians are saying they are losing. The latest Ukraine advances were announced by Russian sources. The new puppet leaders of the annexed regions have been confirming it. on camera.

I donít doubt that Russia is losing.  But the reasons behind the war are much more complicated.  Itís not Russia is bad and the West is good.  I just laugh at such naive people that cheer this stuff on like itís a sporting event, swallowing the propaganda like peanut butter.

You just doubted they were losing when you said such reports were propaganda. It must be difficult to make a point when you can't even remember what you just said.
But continue trying to defend an illegal invasion. You already made a total fool of yourself repeating your biolab and NATO expansion talking points straight from your Russian memes. Don't stop now. It's hilarious to watch.

Guy who gets his empty skull raw-dogged every day by the Daily Wire, New York Post, Fox News and Post Millennial has things to say about propaganda lmao.

You cheered on the Iraq war and show no signs of having learned your lesson you stupid cum bucket. F**k off and die.

Anyway, as in Iraq, it's good when an aggressive imperialist state gets its ass beat.

No idea what ďillegal invasionĒ youíre talking about, you mean Obamaís ridiculous war in Libya?  Regardless, there are biolabs in Ukraine, Biden Administration officials have even testified to that in front of congress.  Try not to be such a puppet to the mainstream media.

And you get your news fro left wing blogs, CNN etc.  So what?  Regardless, you seemed to have learned nothing from previous wars, and previous media manipulation.  Sad.  Take some of your own advice.  There are no good and bad sides in the Ukraine conflict.  Obamaís former Secretary of Defence predicted in 2014.  You should learn why he predicted it.  It might teach you something that the mainstream media hasnít told you.

No, in this case Russia is bad. What do you expect from a country run by gangsters?

"Everyone is being manipulated but me, the guy whose opinions just happen to run fully in lockstep with the right-wing orthodoxy of the day on literally every issue" - you, a catastrophically dumb individual.

The imperialist kleptocracy that invaded a neighbouring democracy is as close to a "bad guy" as you can get in such things, regardless of what your Kremlin-backed propaganda outlets tell you about "NATO aggression".

I never understood how anyone could justify bombing children's bedrooms, no matter what side. Shady has found a way to defend the U.S. doing it in Iraq and Russia doing it now. Some people just like war, so long as the children are far away
