And the existing powers certainly tried their darndest to do bastardly things to put a stop to it.
They think the cause of creating an Islamic homeland is worth fighting and possibly dying for. Ok. I understand that. I also understand that the people who don't want to become part of an Islamic homeland also think their cause is worth fighting and dying for. Everybody thinks their cause is great and wonderful, and sometimes these ideas clash.
