Supply chain issues are also a direct result of the world COVID created.

The other element no one wants to talk about is access to Healthcare. My kid's doctor basically said not to take our kids to the Hospital unless they can't breathe.

People take kids to the ER for some wild reasons. There should be an education campaign about it.
It’s also a huge lie to claim kids clog up ERs.  Old people do, not kids.  The data is pretty clear on this fact.

Really? Where I live, the lack of family doctors is a massive issue.

And given that reality, doesn't it make sense to try and take whatever measures to stem the tide for the moment?

As a parent, I'm not going to begrudge anyone else from taking their kid to the ER given the lack of alternatives.

Braindead.

Triple the usual number of kids are coming to Ontario ERs with respiratory illnesses

Here's one in your own backyard, retard. 'It may get worse': Children's Hospital ER swamped by kids with respiratory illnesses

Is it? What data are you referring to?

The data that’s available through the province.  Saying ER visits from children have doubled isn’t saying much, as they are low to begin with.  Much of that is parents believing much of the Branch Covidian propaganda that their child is in danger.  Regardless, it’s older people that clog up emergency rooms, not kids.  Look at the data.

lol this moron doesn't understand that the visits aren't evenly distributed across the province. What a dipshit.

Also his math is wrong (what a surprise). 2,158 ER visits per day over 160 ERs is 14 visits.

"Coming weeks". Any parent knows that this has been an issue for months.

Formula has seen similar shortages as well.

I do blame parents for stocking up. I personally have a decent supply of the stuff now, so I'm not panicking. But we live in the first World, this shouldn't be a problem we need to face.

So you blame yourself.

So you blame yourself.

I'm not hoarding, but I have secured a sufficient amount.

We are somewhat hoarding formula. That's actually the more troublesome supply-chain issue for parents in the last few months.

That's exactly what a hoarder would say.

COVID-Denying Medical Group Implodes Over Founder’s Extravagant Spending

Quote
When employees at leading COVID pseudoscience group America’s Frontline Doctors tried to log in to work last week, they found themselves locked out of their email accounts. The nonprofit quickly fell into factions, with employees holding rival Zoom meetings to plot who would take over the group.

The organization’s exiled founder, Dr. Simone Gold, tried unsuccessfully to gain access to a private Zoom call, only to find herself stuck in a waiting room. In internal emails, the group’s accountant worried about who could still access the $7 million locked in its bank accounts.

The war for the right’s most prominent COVID quack group—and the millions of dollars it has raised through relentless fundraising and prescriptions for bogus coronavirus cures—had begun.

For months, AFLDS has been split between its board and Gold, the group’s charismatic founder and convicted Capitol rioter, over an internal audit into Gold’s personal spending. That dispute spilled into the open on Nov. 5, when the board sued Gold to try and force her to stop representing the organization, in a lawsuit first reported by Vice News. Now the lawsuit’s outcome could determine the fate of the group driving much of the medical disinformation on the pro-Trump right.

AFLDS is tearing itself apart in a fight over what Gold’s rivals describe as her extravagant spending using the group’s funds. The alleged purchases include $100,000 on a single private jet trip and $50,000 a month in Gold’s personal expenses. Much of the controversy has centered on AFLDS’s purchase of a $3.6 million mansion in Naples, Florida., where Gold lives with her boyfriend: a much younger underwear model and fellow Capitol rioter.

Gold isn’t backing down, penning threatening emails to board members and describing herself, alternately, as a “popular folk hero,” a “rainmaker,” and an avenging “lioness.”

How do you go from "Masks don't work. It's just covid theatre!" to "Masks worked so well children no longer have immune systems!" without any cognitive dissonance?

Did I say masks don't work?

I don't think they work well against Omicron unless you're wearing an N95. And who's going to make a 5-year-old wear an N95.

I'm more commenting of all the social engineering that has gone into the last two years. Closed Schools. Trying to limit family gatherings. Treating any Cold Symptom like the Plague. And no indoor recreation.
Even when kids do have social interactions with other kids we had socially engineered adult lives so that they never really got exposed to many viruses. Those cheques, we as a society wrote, are coming due now.
