Got the second Pfizer jab yesterday almost 11 weeks after the first. Big difference from the first one when I had no reaction at all. Sore arm, aching joints, minor headache and feeling clapped out  today because it ruined a nights sleep. Nothing major though, just discomfort.

I got nothing after the first one.  In fact, I don't think she gave me it, it was so quick.  I think she kept it for the black market.

That said, the better half gets her second tomorrow.  I have to wait a month.

My first was the same. My wife said she had a sore arm, I felt nothing and like you wondered if I even got it.

She had the same reaction as me to the second. No worse.

After my first shot (pfizer) I felt a bit nauseous the first couple of days, had the usual arm hurting, and had a weird foggy brain feeling the first night.

Never had any reaction to a shot before in my life besides sore arm.

Pre-ordering a variety of vaccines was a good thing to do 10 months ago.  It isn't very relevant right now.  GSK and Novavax vaccines aren't even in final production as far as i'm aware.

Thankfully we're doing pretty well in administering doses.

administering doesn't happen without... wait for it... procurement! I see you're in lock-step with one of the latest failed CPC/O'Foole talking points: claiming now that Canada ordered millions of vaccines that will never be needed/used... claiming now that Canada is compromising the developing world's access to vaccines! Of course, this/your failure doesn't seem to factor that a key facet of these "purchase agreements" is that they included a proviso... "option to purchase" - go figure, hey!

Canada will be mostly Pfizer….  However, the procurement of all these other doses are likely going to be administered to other parts of the world, with Canada’s help.

That is going to be the next step in battling COVID and ensuring variants don’t make it back to Canada…. We will need to assist in vaccinating the other parts of the globe who aren’t able to do so effectively.

Yes as I said I have no problem with purchase orders (with options).  That's what we should have done so that's good.  I'm not claiming Canada purchased all of these and screwed over the developing world, we obviously didn't purchase the vast majority of them, most of them aren't even in production.

somehow the waldo doesn't see you qualifying optional purchase - but hey, carry on!

Turns out that ignorance of science, not getting the vaccine, is tied to how educated one is.

Not exactly a shocker that those with less education are likelier to be an idiot.

An analysis of COVID-19 vaccination rates in Alberta suggests one socio-economic factor, in particular, is correlated to vaccine uptake. And it's not income, language or cultural barriers.

It's education.

This presents a particularly tricky challenge for those trying to combat vaccine hesitancy, especially as demand for first doses in the province appears to be waning.

Dunning-Krueger leads them to believe they're more educated on the "risks" of vaccines.

When the movies about Covid-19 are made, this Delta variant will be used for a climactic race against time to vaccinate enough people so that the carnage seen in India doesn't materialize here.

In the end, Western Civilization is victorious against this new challenge.

Ontario daily new cases come in under 300. It's unlikely the virus can get a strong foothold with the level of vaccination we already have. Almost 200k people are getting doses every day.

so Alberta/Kenney tied opening phases to vaccination rates... and now with waning numbers, there's a full-court press on! Just days ago, the plan to hold "vaccination incentivizing lotteries" was announced (3 @ $1 million dollars each). And now an advertising campaign has also started up:
