A great example of why a travel ban, in isolation, doesn’t work.

And yet Dr Tam is now saying we should have acted sooner on border closures.  And you can bet that the same people who were parroting the "border closures don't work" mantra will be those howling the loudest when the border with the USA eventually does open up.

(for the record: keep that border closed. It's just common sense.)

Well I guess we'd rather be "brain dead" as you call it than Covid dead. There's a big difference.
What about unattended medical conditions since doctors are no longer seeing patients for anything but Covid?

I like coming to Canada too much and I tested negative for antibodies; the one test I wanted a positive result on.

Why did you skip the part where I said "in isolation"?  The key is having all the other precautions ready as well.  As the USofA showed, the travel ban probably made things much worse in the short term.

This is untrue.

If we need to talk to our doctor, the receptionist gives us a time that he will call. After speaking to him on the phone he decides whether he needs to see you.

JBG that was the std test.  Of course you tested negative.  You are a virgin. Nothing wrong with that. Most people on this board would fail the test. Lots of questionable skin rashes. Notice they are always in shades of pink or red.

Wait, what?  I thought it was suppose to be the exact opposite!

Florida’s new cases actually declined by 14% compared to the previous week, and Georgia’s fell by 12%” between May 4 and May 11, Axios reported, noting that “Nevada leads the pack with a 44% reduction

Right.  Cherry pick one day, while ignoring the previous days.  Not surprising.  Regardless, it’s not really about cases as it is about hospitalizations and deaths.  You know that.
