Even when kids do have social interactions with other kids we had socially engineered adult lives so that they never really got exposed to many viruses. Those cheques, we as a society wrote, are coming due now.
As I understand, doctors aren't sure whether the rise in child illness is a result from reduced exposure to viruses weakening the immune system or the long-term effects of covid weakening the immune system. Why are you so sure if they aren't?
