I’ve never said it was a failure. But the vaccines don’t do what we were told they would, which is stop infection. That’s why double vaccinated double boosted people like Biden and Trudeau have had covid multiple times. Vaccines are to help protect yourself, not other people.
They did. Places with high vaccination rates largely avoided the worst effects of the Delta variant. Which was the most virulent version of the strain so far.
We're in a COVID world now where the Vaccination likely helps your body fight off an infection, but certainly doesn't prevent an infection.
Such as the case with a virus like this. No one says the Flu Shot prevents you from getting the Flu.
