Here's an idea: take that crappy AstraZeneca vaccine and throw it in the trash, then get Pzifer to start making its vaccines in AstraZeneca production facilities and then compensate AstraZeneca and Pfizer.
This is no time for profit-making for vaccine companies, this is time to save lives. This is a global emergency. COVID vaccine IP shouldn't belong to these companies, it should belong to the world. Take it from them, compensate them from a global fund, then distribute it to any company in any country that can make them.
It is the second most used vaccine in the world after Pfizer. 71 countries are using it. It is also being provided at cost, a tenth the price of the other vaccines. Since the Brits started using it their seven daily moving average of new cases has gone from 67,000 to 5400.
