Last year the government and the medical community kept overstating the risk of covid to younger people,  to try and maintain the "we're all in this together" narrative.   The stats showed that young people were about as likely to die from raccoon attacks as from covid, but you wouldn't have known it from what our government and medical officials were saying. Now they're like "lol okay but this time we really mean it."  Assuming the doctors who cried wolf are telling the truth, and young people are in danger FOR REALZ this time, then maybe young people should be first in line for the vaccine, not last in line.

Well like I said, let's see the statistics.  Are these variants really more dangerous for young people, or are young people just the ones not vaccinated yet and are out partying and working as cashiers and in food delivery etc.  Doctors seeing more young people in ICU's is circumstantial evidence.  Maybe they're just trying to scare young people so they stop partying.

I also read there's like 4000 variant strains out there, which is lovely.
