Trump and his supporters have knowingly lied about the virus and actively encouraged that stupidity. No sympathy for any of them. Not one iota.
It may be worse in the US but stupidity went global and viral long before COVID or even Trump came along. He may be the latest biggest quack in the pond but we're all more or less sitting there too.
