Cite? I ask because you're always wrong when you say things without a citation.

This is pretty much common knowledge at this point.  Other than to Branch Covidians.

Conclusion: COVID-19 and Influenza may share similar clinical features. According to our findings, however, we believe that COVID-19 disease has a milder clinical and laboratory course than Influenza in children.

And yet a more recent study says Covid is six times more lethal to children than the flu. Your information is way out of date  Try to keep up.

Okay. I thought about it. Have you thought about the possibility that covid is responsible for children's diminished immune systems and not scary mask wearing?

Evidence has constantly shown that Children, even when infected with COVID, don't experience nearly as severe an outcome. When stats were available in Ontario, they showed that less than like 20 people under 20 had died of COVID.

But suddenly COVID is supposed to make them way more susceptible to RSV and the FLu?

It does seem like this is an unproven theory to justify the COVID measures. My kid never tested positive for COVID, I was pressured to take him to get PCR tests for every sniffle up until last winter when it proved impractical to give everyone with the sniffles a PCR.

My child never wore a mask. But what did happen was all our social gatherings were very limited and that's why we're in this mess.

And even if it was COVID, it doesn't justify further restrictions. What are we supposed to hide under the couch and wear masks indefinitely? That's working so well in China.

Complete nonsense.  Youíre cherry picking immune compromised and very sick children, and using that as a basis for all children.  Thatís completely false.  A study from 2022 or 2021 studied the same covid.  It didnít all of a sudden get much more severe.  Stop the nonsense already.

Where does it say in the cited study they only studied immunocompromised children? You're making things up because you can't stand being wrong...again.  😂

The article indicates Deaths from 2021.

2021 had the most severe variants of COVID. Lot's of excess death from lower age groups for these variants. Delta being the worst for people not vaccinated. Kids couldn't get vaccinated then.

2022 is a different animal. Omicron is much easier spread but far less pathogenic.

Because that makes up almost the entirety of children deaths.

Even if that were true (and your lack of citation suggests it isn't), it still proves your statement that the flu is more dangerous than covid is absolutely wrong.

Itís not my statement.  Itís scientific fact based on studies comparing the flu and covid.  Iím sorry this fact conflicts with your religious beliefs.

RSV, which is basically a cold, effects children much more severely than adults. The opposite is the case with COVID.

The current rise in children sickness is not being driven by COVID, but RSV and the Flu, so the whether COVID is more severe or not is irrelevant.

clearly... pediatric Covid-19 minimizers need influenza to be worse than COVID in order to convince parents/teachers to drop their support for testing and mask wearing when needed.

Covid kills six times the number of children than the flu but it's less dangerous because...you say so.  😆

Or RSV? We're not even talking about deaths here. Kids don't generally die of either. But they're all getting sick at the same time due to delayed exposure to these common viruses due to Extreme COVID measures.
