Well "operation warp speed" turns out to be a typical trump campaign event that presents nothing more than a load of horse shyte that is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. why am I not surprised?

like I said, now... NOW... you shift from total to active - but you haven't the mettle to even offer any data/numbers for active cases. And you dumbPhack, the Axios data reference you initially hyped is not active cases! What a maroon, what a rube you are!  ;D

again, your peaBrain can't interpret what I've just said about your referenced link: "reads like you have no problem blindly accepting a most limited data sampling - of course... that's a part of your brand! Meanwhile you ignore the fact that current estimates of the incubation period range from 1-14 days with median estimates of 5-6 days between infection and the onset of clinical symptoms of COVID-19. While you also ignore that listing of U.S. states that have increased cases... you ignore the influence testing has on case counts while also ignoring all manner of caveats concerning testing (testing methodology, type(s) of testing, number of tests, targeted testing, false negatives, etc..) - of course you ignore it all!"
Because total cases ever is irrelevant.  Does it matter if a month ago somebody had the virus and has since recovered?  Nope.  Active cases is and has always been the most important aspect of reopening.  Just admit that you've been wrong and we can all move on.  Regardless, phased reopening are happening everywhere, whether you like it or not.  Stay inside and hide under your bed until there's a vaccine.  I couldn't care less.  I'm going to the park on the weekend.  The weather's suppose to be really nice finally.

if total cases are, as you NOW say, irrelevant... why was your initial data reference relying upon it? And why, after your nonsense has been highlighted, have you shifted to active cases... yet, after multiple posts now, YOU HAVE YET TO PRESENT ANY ACTUAL ACTIVE CASE DATA? Is there a problem FOR YOU?

These aren't 80 year olds, so who gives a crap whether they die right?  Blood on the hands of the lockdown nuts.

Her blood is on the hands of the lockdown nuts.  Doesn't matter though, as long as some 80 year old gets another year or two out of life, that's all that matters!

I thought it would be really obvious what the consequences are of being a secretive communist regime that is a notorious abuser of human rights and not an honest player in the world.

It seems its been obvious enough for anyone paying attention for decades now and the issue of whether we should we give a **** is on the rise. Increasing numbers and as many as 85% of Canadians finally seem to be saying yes.

Asked about the country’s approach to relations with China, three-quarters of Canadians (76%) say Canada should prioritize human rights and the rule of law over economic opportunity

It may be convenient to bash China to deflect from Trump's failures in the short term but anyone doing so like anyone afraid of calling China out should both be nervous about the vast majority of people who no longer want to see trade and economic opportunism trump human rights.

It's actually the other way around.  It may be convenient to bash Trump to deflect from China, but China will be around long after Trump is out of office.

the winning {South Korea} model:
- protect medical staff
- quarantine measures to reduce further infections in hospitals
- dedicated testing sites; significant numbers of vehicle accessible drive-through testing locations
- all medical/related costs covered by Korean government
- effective contact tracing; without regard to presumptive privacy concerns, smartphone and credit-card data relied upon
- mask wearing a government priority; masks made available to all citizens. Physical distancing an expected and followed practice by citizens
- full transparency in publishing movements of those testing positive, including locations traced
- effective government leadership met with trust by citizens

Fact check: Trump falsely denies FDA warning on hydroxychloroquine, baselessly alleges political bias in study
Quote
President Donald Trump continued Tuesday to make false and baseless claims about hydroxychloroquine, the anti-malaria drug he has repeatedly promoted and now says he is himself taking.
