Given Chinese statements about how they 'will not allow' a war on the Korean peninsula I'm beginning to wonder if the US shouldn't just announce that as far as they're concerned North Korea is a province of China, and that any nuclear attack on the US from North Korea will be taken as an attack by China and will receive the appropriate retaliation AGAINST China.
In other words if LA goes, so does Shanghai.

The South Koreans? Because the Chinese are most definitely not America's ally I any sense of the word.
