It must take you a lot of time to masturbate...

Perhaps he isn't referring to 14 literal penises. Perhaps he's speaking metaphorically.

However personally I worry about children. I think we have lowered the age of sexual awareness too far. We bombard them with sexual messages I feel at two young an age to sell them crap.

I agree with this.  Not necessarily about the "sell them crap" part, but definitely that kids are being pressured to adopt a sexual identity at too young an age.   I feel a little uncomfortable when I hear news stories about adolescent kids indentifying themselves as gay or trans or whatever.  It just seems like way too early in life to be putting labels on kids.

In my personal experience I went through a lot of "phases" while trying to figure out who I was, not just sexually but in all aspects of my life.  I certainly couldn't have picked out a label as an adolescent.  And yet it seems like that's where we're heading.

Perhaps labels have a role to play in increasing awareness, which can give kids (and adults) more freedom to explore.  Adopting a label as a teenager does not commit a person to that label forevermore; how many 30 year-old-goths do we see?   One's sexual identity orientation is pretty deeply rooted, so I find it hard to believe that someone is going to go unhappily through life as a gay person because they decided to check it out when they were 17.  Were we better off when we didn't have labels for someone who enjoyed dressing as the other gender, or felt trapped in a body that was that wrong gender?

I see a problem with labels when they're used to stereotype people, when the label becomes more important than the person.

Thank you for the insight. To clarify "sell them crap" I mean pressuring young people to buy brand names telling them if they don't it makes them less attractive sexually. Hey we do that withadults too. I am of course over simplifying it a bit for discussion purposes.

I like what Dia said too.

The topic by no means is easy to get a handle on.

When I was an adolescent I knew virtually nothing about sex. There was zero sex or nudity on television, and the only 'video' available were 8mm films which you had to order from the US (and which Canada customs was ever on the lookout for). Mens magazines had only just started to show pubic hair (models actually HAD pubic hair!).

Today, eleven year olds are watching x-rated bondage ****, deep throating and facials on the internet, if not on television.

When I was an adolescent, adolescent girls dressed like... girls. They wore no makeup. They had simple hairstyles and loose clothing. They were definably different from women. That difference has evaporated in the fashions, and eleven year olds are now dating and making out. Thirteen year olds dress like seventeen year olds and wear thongs. And every advertisement aimed at girls is filled with sexuality.

Is it any wonder kids are feeling pressured way before they're mentally equipped to handle such things?
