I agree with this.  Not necessarily about the "sell them crap" part, but definitely that kids are being pressured to adopt a sexual identity at too young an age.   I feel a little uncomfortable when I hear news stories about adolescent kids indentifying themselves as gay or trans or whatever.  It just seems like way too early in life to be putting labels on kids. 

In my personal experience I went through a lot of "phases" while trying to figure out who I was, not just sexually but in all aspects of my life.  I certainly couldn't have picked out a label as an adolescent.  And yet it seems like that's where we're heading.
