Nope.

Ya, actually it does.

About three-quarters of Earth's freshwater is stored in glaciers. Therefore, glacier ice is the second largest reservoir of water on Earth and the largest reservoir of freshwater on Earth!

the water's ability to speed flowing glacial ice towards the ocean also contributes to sea level rise. If all the ice that is on Greenland were to melt or calve into the ocean, global sea level would rise 7.2 meters (21 feet.)

And?  You gonna tell China and India about this, so that maybe they’ll act sooner than possibly 2030?  If not, I guess we’ll have to adapt huh?  Regardless, climate change would actually be good for Canada.  I also remember previous predictions, that we have 10 years before the works ends?  Those predictions have been made every few years or so since the early 90s.

Adapt to what? You have no clue.

To changes.  The way humans have even doing for 10,000 years.  Regardless, I think the nuclear fusion story is a pretty big deal.

oh how you struggle with the concept of peak emissions and targeting it... a moron is Shady. Don't be Shady!

notwithstanding the fact China has actually provided a NDC emissions improvement target update to its 2015 Paris Agreement NDC commitment, riddle me this Shady:
=>if a country... any country... pledged to reach peak emissions by 2030, how would that country reach that peak target without beginning mitigating reductions in 2015 on-through-to today and on-through-to 2030?
clearly you can't grasp the concept of policies driving mitigating emission reduction actions working towards a peak target... your "waiting to peak" comment showcases your ignorance! Your 2030/8 years reference reinforces you haven't a clue as to what the updated China NDC commitment actually is!

We have never had to adapt to changes we were responsible for making. You say 1 degree is no big deal but aside from glacier melt, thermal expansion has a big influence on sea level increase.

10% of the worlds population live less than 30 feet above sea level.

We’re responsible for 100% of the changes?  That’s not provable in any way.  Regardless, whether it’s adapting to changes we’re somewhat or totally responsive for, or for changes in the past that we were not.  It’s still the same adaptation.  I guess 10% of the world should move farther inland or to higher ground.  It’s weird though seeing some of the biggest alarmists, continue to buy beachfront property.

Is the environment ok with your 2030 peak emissions policy for China?

the waldo asks why bother with you? You seemingly don't read any of the replies to your posts and/or you're purposely trolling!
Again, China has issued a new/replacement NDC.

Hey man, take it up with the environment.  It’s just weird that 2030 is cool because I’ve heard that climate change is such and urgent issue.  Is it urgent or not?  2030 doesn’t sound urgent.
