Of course, the accuracy of such a study depends entirely on the biases of the people doing the study.

the accuracy... of the accuracy of the factual basis from articles within the respective sources! Your alternate facts certainly hold bias; however, consensus determines the prevailing science and facts therein. You're welcome! And in that regard, TorStar presented the most accurate articles... the National Post, the least accurate! Again:

People like yourself may not recognize what is objectively true, but that doesn't mean others cannot.

in line with industry's own 'Pathways to Net Zero' alliance's commitment...  with the predictable National Post bullshyte coverage!

Quote from: PM Trudeau @COP26
We’ll cap oil and gas sector emissions today and ensure they decrease tomorrow at a pace and scale needed to reach net-zero by 2050

I agree with the majority of the PPC on this one.  It’s not a threat to the planet.

It is a threat to us as a species, and many other species….  But to say it’s a threat to the planet is hyperbole and/or sloppy language.

I don't know how many other chargers are in Hope. If I owned another brand and had to wait for hours behind a bunch of Teslas to use another charger when I can't use a Tesla charger I would not be impressed. That is where we are with charger infrastructure and why big changes are needed if this is to be mainstream.

Here on the Island, the flood disaster has caused us to have a shortage of gasoline.  Lots of electricity to charge EVs….  A lack of gasoline for ICEs.

People poo-poo EVs when some disaster befalls us and say gas cars are the only reliable way to get around, and yet, here we are….

'the predictions are way off' ....

That claim must be challenged.  They're actually remarkably close.

You can shut down a misinformed discussion like that.

Your first mistake is that thinking climate deniers deal in facts.

There are huge dollars in funding climate science and anything to the contrary isn’t published because the establishment climate alarmists who make money off of it and live in fancy houses won’t allow it to be published.   David Suzuki

1. I don't know if they actually do, but if they CLAIM to then I distribute some facts.  They can either respond with bullshit or... as is the case here... nothing at all.

2. Uh... right.   Easy to debunk that one.  I had someone claiming once that I was MAKING UP a quote from Trump.  I found a YouTube clip with the exact words coming out of his mouth.  Posted it.  /END THREAD  :D

It’s easy to debunk with facts.  But these people don’t deal in facts.  They deal in conspiracies.

Which is why they flee after I respond with facts.

What does that thread look like to anybody else reading ?

Remember when people used to deny climate change was real? Those were good times.
