Read this. There's an image of an inferno placed right under the headline for a climate change article on the CBC. It's meant to scare and shock people into action "omg the world is going to be on fire!".  There's lot of articles that use this imagery.  Little kids are literally having nightmares fearing climate change because of all the doom people put out there about.

Increased disasters like forest fires are what is going to be the new norm.   Bury your head in the sand if you like.   You’re prone to conspiracy theory thinking though, so not a surprise you think there’s something nefarious with putting a picture to the potential effects of climate change.
