Despite
voter-suppression efforts, Brazil's Bolsanaro has lost his reelection bid, but, in a move reminiscent of Donald Trump,
is refusing to concede while his supporters are
openly calling on the military to carry out a coup.
It's a great comeback story for the left-wing Lula, who was imprisoned on corruption charges and barred from running in 2018, but his conviction was annulled after it came out the judge was working with prosecutors (and was later rewarded with a post in in Bolsonaro's government).
It'll be interesting to see if Bolsanaro will pursue a GOP style denial campaign or give up the ghost and go back to doing what he loves: being hospitalized for various ailments.
