Could it be that what we have identified as atoms are simply pixels which generate the visions we see? I think we all know that Einstein showed that light by itself acts like a particle until we look at it, and then it acts like a wave. What's happening behind the scenes?

A better question is "why are we trying to constantly build a better universe" ?
