Waldo conflict of interest
« on: August 26, 2021, 09:00:39 pm »
Question for Waldo:  do you receive any money from the Liberal Party of Canada, any of its MPs or members,  or otherwise work for the Liberal Party or its members?

If this question isn't answered it will be assumed that you do.  Any response to this thread that doesn't specifically answer the above question will be deemed a non-answer and therefore an affirmative to the above question.

____________

Question for forum admin:  Since this forum is social media, does this forum allow its members to make posts on behalf of the interests of a political party and/or politicians for whom they work for, with or without the knowledge of forum members?  Is there a policy regarding disclosure of such conflicts of interest by forum members?

Does this forum have any policies regarding posts during an election campaign period by forum members who are affiliated with a party or politician?

I would propose a rule where any member who works for a party or politician and is vouching on their behalf needs to disclose such conflicts of interest to all forum members.   Or some rule similar, in order to prevent covert political influencing toward forum members and lurkers (non- members) by actors associated with a political party/politician.

promise? But ya ya, you'd vote Liberal the day the proverbial pigs fly!

hey Gorgeous - yes... no... maybe so!

Question for Gorgeous: what are you so bereft of that you need to manufacture drama, to personalize and bully lil' ole waldo so? That you actually put thought to crafting such a moronic OP is the most telling thing about you! What a maroon, what a rube!

I don't think that you can post a member into a corner that way.

This non-answer will be taken as a "yes".

You are taking this as a 'yes'.

Ok - so you now have your ammo to take this to the Canadian Politics Today supreme court.

So this aged extremely well and I don't regret making this thread in any way whatsoever given that waldo was AWOL from this forum about a week before the 2021 federal election until about an hour after the media called the election for the Liberals.

I am a f***king genius, everyone worship my brain.

What's wrong with allying oneself with a party? Isn't that how politics works?

Chances are pretty good he's actually a card carrying Conservative tasked with going about the internet making people nauseous about the Liberal brand. He's sure good at it.

Lies!...

There's no contradiction there.. I felt Waldo was a liberal agent for a long time.. and I still think it's unfair to ask a question, and then frame it by saying the respondent must answer or the answer is.. this.

Iím with eyeball. With the incoherent sentences, constant deflection and childish names, s/he is a terrible representation for the party. Someone with charisma, maybe a sense of humour would deliver the message more advantageously.

The Liberals should get a refund.
