I had no idea we could do this.

Why hasn’t anyone else done this???

See my “Outdoor Activities Culture” thread for a pic of mine.

This opens up way more possibilities for topics!

Photo contests??

Can someone tell me if my pic in that topic actually shows up?

Small fish.  Red lips.

Why do you think this changes things on the Forum?

You could always post your personal pictures off site, and then link to it via the image tag right?

I'm sure they're affordable in BC.

In Ontario they keep Cpn. Highliner in a safe behind the counter.

Sure, it’s not a 30 pound chinook, but it’s a nice trout!

I don’t post pics online, so now I can.  But some people might not want other forum members looking through their other photos, dur to anonymity.  Now they don’t have to worry about that.

Zoom in on the “lips”…. That’s a fly, not lips.

Here's a picture I have put on here without uploading.  I am asking how direct uploads is better than this ?

Because I would prefer to do it also if there's some advantage, but I don't like the site getting my raw images.

Delightful. Here's a shot of local Winnipeg band The Squires rehearsing in the basement.

I don't think that I ever got an answer: you could always post in Imgur

Sure.  Then I’d need another account when I could just post pics here without another account.

You don't need an account to use Imgur

Yeah - the images I posted in this thread were created without an account

Why didn’t you just upload them directly to the site?

Why didn’t you just upload them directly to the site?

Prior to this thread: I didn't know it was available
After this thread: When I was asking you why you didn't use imgur before.

Would I upload it here directly ?  I don't know.  I'm always leery of geographic and IP fingerprints for images.  The IMGUR approach I think precludes it.   I am unable to determine if my images are stamped or not.
