stop (purposely) removing the name/linkage within quotes...
I am not sure people are purposely removing it, they are misusing the insert quote button on the editor. It is better to go back to the discussion and use the insert quote button there which actually adds the author and link tags.
If you want to respond to another part of the same message, it is best to do another quote from the message later like so:
One needs to actually remove the linkage - stop it!
rather than just cut and paste the text using the insert quote button on the editor like so:
couple of a-holes
although you could manually add the tags yourself like:
ratBastardChas wouldn't do a damn thing about it
