Stupid irritating quote feature
« on: October 12, 2021, 03:57:32 pm »
So I've noticed a couple of times now that once I start a post that's that. This software insists I finish it. If I cancel, go somewhere else, and try to quote another post it brings up the one I was working on. If I log out and then log back in and try to reply to anything at all it will bring back the post I was working on. Is there a way to tell it to **** off?

Thanks. Will try next time.

edit. Doesn't work. However, I can simply post something then remove it and that seems to do the trick.

Perhaps that was what you meant.

I have found this as well.  One time I was trying to open multiple replies in multiple tabs so that I could collate all the quotes into a single post, but each time it kept putting the first message I'd quoted into the new tab as well. Annoying.

guys, guys... just empty the edit space, then preview it - clears up any prior quotes you had in the hopper! You're welcome.

That’s what I said.
