Chrome could well be the problem.

I wonder. I used Safari, don't have Chrome on my iPad.

I had problems with Chrome and switched to Firefox. Chrome seems to be getting a bad rep.

Chrome could well be the problem.

Happens on both Safari (1st) and Chrome.

Just posted this with a mini 4 with IOS 13.

No probem.

Did you try deleting the history cache and reboot?

I did. Multiple times.  Seemed to work at 1st.   I suspect something is going on with my iPad as my Mac has no issues with the site.

Dammit.

Does anyone else get pop ups when they’re trying to post a reply?

I’m using an ipad and the ad takes over the browser.  Only happens on this site.

Happens in Chrome and Safari.

Happening to me now - android OS + Chrome.  I get a Rogers 'fake contest' win notification

Yeah!   I get a fake Telus.  Only happens on my ipad. I’ve done everything I can to ensure it’s not the iPad itself.

I suspect it’s the site....    bummer.

Something weird, though, as it mostly happens on the subway.  Hope it's not a virus.

Ok

It's apparently called the lucky.happyparkclub.com virus.

I found that my Google chrome settings had an exception for this site that allowed pop ups.

I removed it.  Let's see what happens.

Thanks.  I'll look into mine.

ETA:

I did a bit more digging, and apparently it's not a virus, but an ad from this site.

So, it may be a simple case of not allowing popups from this forum and that should take care of it.  I will check my iPad settings when I get the chance.

On the Apple forum it recommends staying away from the site (this one) as it may be hacked or is prone to sending SPAM.

Any thoughts JMT?
