Site functionality
« on: October 21, 2017, 02:06:00 pm »
Is it standard for the site to bring you back to the thread list instead of the thread you replied to? I have to click back into the thread to make another post, which then kicks back to the thread list in that section.  Can this be changed at all? Is there a setting I am missing?

Mind you that sure as hell increases the thread visit count with that behaviour.

When replying, you can choose to return to the thread.  I’ll check to see if this can be made the default settings, as I also like returning to the thread better.

I can't see a way to change that - it doesn't mean that such a change isn't possible, but I simply was unable to find it.

Now it goes to Page 1  ..   any way to make it go back to last page/reply?

It also seems inconsistent .. I hit reply and was bought to back to main page here.  But in another thread, it simply kicked me back to page one of that thread.

I don't know what you are talking about. When I reply to someone and it posts I'm left on the last page of the thread, looking at what I just posted, just like at MLW. What we DO NOT seem to have is a way to then bounce back to the post we replied to so we could continue on reading.

You just click the name of the person you just quoted above the quote box.  I think that's what you're talking about.

Does anyone else get pop ups when they’re trying to post a reply?

I’m using an ipad and the ad takes over the browser.  Only happens on this site.

Happens in Chrome and Safari.

Just posted this with a mini 4 with IOS 13.

No probem.

Did you try deleting the history cache and reboot?

Chrome could well be the problem.
