I remember back on "the other forum" that new membership would spike around election season.  Well we got that one right leaning new member.

I think the private message board like these are almost dead as a medium, reddit, twitter, facebook, and newspaper comment sections have taken most of the convos.

On the days I work from home I check out the board throughout the day.  Problem is I kind of like you all, yes even Waldo, and I can't be bothered to argue with you.

I'd rather hear about Squid's latest catch, Kimmy's drama with Lindsey, Michael's transition to fatherhood, Wilber's retirement and Graham masturbating (ok maybe not that one). 

We're all more buddies here talking about our personal life with the odd quibble here and there.  There is no enragement to keep us hooked.
