11 of the Toronto seats went Tory, including the premier. You can hardly claim they didn't have lots of support in Toronto.

11 seats Tory, with 32.7% of the vote
3 seats Liberal, with 26.2% of the vote
11 seats NDP, with 36.5% of the vote

The Tories did not get a majority in Toronto, and Ford is just leveling his attack on the city that rejected him for mayor as well.

He threw his name in at the last minute. He might well have won if he'd had time.

Yes, Ford is like that, always going off half cocked.

So we could end up with an Ezra Levant lapdog at the helm of our largest city. Now that's scary.

3 polls show her at 2 percent, 3 percent and 6 percent.

Her main purpose is to troll liberals, and make conservatives look bad.

That sounds like Avenatti - troll Republicans and make Democrats look bad.

I was at a party yesterday... usual collection of ultra-liberal Hardner supporters.  Come to think of it, it was a baby party for me... but anyway.

Several people openly stated they'd be voting for Tory, which when you consider he was PC LEADER is shocking and says a lot for him.  He may be the most centrist politician of our day.  As such, he's likely doomed.

I think voters, especially at the municipal level, care more about competence than ideology or party.  At least the swing voters do, and those are the people who decide elections.  If you're more to the center you're more likely to capture the biggest % of swing voters IMO

Many Conservatives would say he’s not a real conservative....

I am looking at getting people into political life boats at this point.  Trump could convince 40% of the US of the need for martial law right now.  Every sane person needs to start thinking about centrism as a survival path.
