Bingo.  Yes we have this, and lower gun crime.  I think a Canadian approach might be in order.  They have done crackdowns before, why not again ?

So, every couple decades we have a "crackdown", usually not supported by any real statistics, certainly none that prove the crackdown was effective at reducing gun crime beyond the back ground rate of reduction that we have been seeing for many decades now, and you feel that we should continue to have more crackdowns?

The Toronto PD found to be making **** up and your response is well, lets be 'Canadian' and do it anyway?  Well, maybe most Canadians really are that stupid, maybe that's why we have liberal governments more often than not, but this particular lie certainly isn't subtle, I just have to wonder how stupid you really need to be in order to want to act upon it regardless?

Fact based thinking.  Anyway, the end goal for some is to obviously to ban firearms outright, and they don't care what lies they have to tell to do it.

Then again, maybe we really should do something about the near daily rural Canadian handgun shooting sprees, those redneck farmers are out of control, what does a kilo of pure prairie white gold go for nowadays anyway? a couple bucks? sheesh, it's no wonder there's blood on the grid roads. Or maybe it's just the widespread mental illness derived from too much open space and fresh air.  I mean you hear about that all the time, but it's hard to know for sure as they usually kill themselves before every seeing a doctor, yea, it's got to be that.
