Given his name I am sure many will jump to the conclusion that thus was radical Muslim terror, but there doesn't appear to be anything to suggest that this was anything more than a mentally ill individual acting out.

Also, a man armed with a knife was arrested on Parliament Hill.

"Ottawa Police have charged 24-year-old Jesse Mooney, of Ottawa, with assault and breach of probation. Initial reports that the suspect had been armed with a knife were described by investigators as inaccurate. A pocket knife was found near the suspect when he was arrested, police later clarified."

Dude was already on probation, and decides he wants to go fight a bunch of soldiers?
