Trudeau gov recently announced that it will be leading the NATO training mission in Iraq.  The next day there was a terror threat in Toronto.

Now a Muslim gunman kills in Danforth, and a man tries to stab a military guard on Parliament Hill.  I suspect at least some of these may be related.

I wonder if this shooting is in any way related to the terror threat in Toronto from a week and a half ago?  What if all the attention and enhanced security in downtown Toronto scared the attacker off and made him/them find a new target and/or method?  What's with the coordinated and well-thought out press release from the attackers's family about the attacker's alleged mental illness immediately after his identity was released?

We all know that a mass murderer is motivated almost always by either 1) extremist Islamist ideology or 2) mental illness.  What if the Toronto police are trying to cover up for a failure in their policing by coordinating the identity release with the victim's family in order to control media & social media reaction?  What if this explains why it took so long for the police to release the name of the attacker?
