This is what annoys me about THIS and PAST govts - no 'visionaries' to carry us into something 'new' even if it's a 'pilot' project. Many people in need of non-covid medical CARE cannot access medical care. WHY keep ALL hospitals focused on ONE health issue when there are OTHERS? WHY not FIND an alternative delivery system to address these patients? We have telehealth - which is awesome - and ability for MOBILE services. I had suggested that ONE facility be kept open only for non-covid medical care. This at least gives people a CHANCE for prolonging their life span. Seriously 'dumb' decisions from this govt - provincial, big time and does not excuse federal govt either.
