To be fair, it WOULD have cost them about what they paid for the bridge they built. They had to kick in that amount and the province would have funded the rest. They were trying to save the taxpayers money. The idea that since the province pays for it it's free money is inane. Anyway, who knows what went wrong, but apparently the company that built it has to replace it for free.
Maybe but if you are going to build a bridge, get someone who knows how to build bridges.
