Would this apply to smokers, drunk drivers, abortions, alcoholic people too etc?
They're human beings, we can't let people die.
1) none of the often-cited examples are highly transmittable and can kill another person for merely taking an elevator ride with the affected person. Apples and oranges.
2) more importantly, if there was a free, readily-available vaccine which would reduce the harmful effects and the smoker, alcoholic, drunk driver refused to take it... yes, indeed, I believe they should also be refused medical care as well.
