I don't understand this post. Other provinces have enacted lockdowns and restrictions seemingly more successfully than Alberta. Why more jurisdiction just because one provincial government failed ?
I think there's just too much to leave to chance - the opportunity for a failure of catastrophic scale due to ideology and ignorance is just too great. I'd take it step farther than BC_cheque and place most decision making into the hands of experts for the duration of the emergency.
