Living next door to Alberta has really opened my eyes to the futility of healthcare as a provincial jurisdiction during a pandemic when the freedom of movement is a federal issue.  I sincerely think we need a federal state of emergency to suspend freedom of movement.

Alternatively, let the feds make the calls on restrictions, but I think for provincial rights it makes more sense to suspend freedom of movement.

Horgan says he 'tried' to do it but I have a hard time believing it.  We seem to love the dirty tourist money.

I don't understand this post.  Other provinces have enacted lockdowns and restrictions seemingly more successfully than Alberta.  Why more jurisdiction just because one provincial government failed ?
