Yellowstone has a 50 square mile "Zone of Death" where you can get away with murder
Due to constitutional weirdness, this zone theoretically would allow you to murder someone without punishment. It hasn't happened, but the loophole is still there. I read about that THIS year, after driving the northern boundary of the zone (coincidentally) last year. We were headed to BC from Yellowstone and I thought - why not just hit Idaho on the way by. Beautiful country but... well, watch yourself I guess ?
Population Zero is the movie that is set around that premise - a murder in this zone.

It was a mockumentary and - oddly - the film-makers were utterly unable to sustain any level of mystery, drama or tension. The mockumentary reveals the murder in the intro... you know who did it... so what is there to make you watch. Some of the acting is bad too.

You don't have any, ummmm, GPS coordinates, do you. Just for information's sake, of course!

Just take the Western gate into Idaho, near the Montana border then turn left outside of the gates.
