Title: Political party begging
Post by: ?Impact on March 30, 2017, 03:53:11 pm
I just thought I would do a quick review of my e-mail, and compare political party begging. The NDP sent me 25 emails in March, and the Liberals 30. I was dropped off the Green Party list many moths ago due to some technical glitch, and I never bothered to correct it. The Conservatives never put me on a list, or at least a list they send and email to. It would be interesting those who are on those other lists if they have similar number of messages from them, and what percentage of the messages they read. I tend to ignore it all now, because the noise to signal ratio is way too high. Do these lists actually work?

Anyone on the Conservative Party lists gets multiple pleas for money daily from the various candidates. It's impossible to keep track of them all. I don't get email pleas from the party itself. I get actual mail from them. I continue to get pleas from the Liberals because I donated a hundred bucks a few years back in hopes of keeping that idiot Fantino from getting elected. Fortunately, I gave them my junk mail email address so I only have to go there occasionally and delete everything. I get phone calls, some of which I know come from the conservative Party (I checked) but I don't answer them. The NDP knows better than to waste their time with me, I guess.

I had to create a separate email folder to dump the junk mail from the NDP it got so bad at one point. The Green Party doesn't beg as much for money thankfully.
