YouTube stuff
« on: October 12, 2020, 10:57:15 am »
We've got discussions on Netflix and TV, why not YouTube?

A channel I like is LegalEagle, run by a civil litigation trial lawyer named Devin Stone.  He's got a number of videos talking about the legalities of the actions taken by the current US administration.  Pretty interesting, and he's funny.

Also, Chubbyemu if you like weird medical stories.  "A boy ate 150 vitamin gummies for breakfast.  Here's what happened to his bones", things like that.

Anyone else have interesting YouTube videos or channels?

Van Ballion.

I watch the QAnon types defend themselves with outlandish conspiracy arguments, like 'the court is an admiralty court'... defining themselves as sovereign and not citizens, and yet protected as citizens etc.

This reminds me, for no apparent reason, of Beau of the Fifth Column, a recently discovered (by me) YouTuber.  His "studio" appears to be a trailer or garage, he looks like the quintessential Trump supporter but he's not.

He's also Justin King, an anarchist and self-described adversarial journalist.  He has a few websites  including this one:  https://thefifthcolumnnews.com/ and this one:  https://justinking.org/

According to some other sources I've read, his goal is to gently draw people toward anarchy through his relatable "Beau" character and build a movement, though it may take decades to achieve his end goal of dismantling government.  Biden will make that goal easier than Trump  according to his 1000th video, posted today.

I do agree with a lot of what he supports (at least what I've seen so far), but I don't think anarchy, as I understand it, is a viable way to structure a society.  Still find him interesting character.

That's very well done, and presumably you subscribe to it.

But can you take that as far as necessary to include what the US and UK are doing in H.K., for what must be assumed to be stopping communism?

Or is your purpose served and you just need to walk away from all of it?

You've burnt your bridges squid and there's no way back for you, so you'll have to deal with your hurt feelings in the best way you can. Just don't do it on my threads or you could end up being deleted for your behaviour. Here is fine with me!
