I like the top video but not the bottom one.
I can tell how good of a person you are by how you treat the people you disagree with.

Both of them are listenable.  Top one reminds me of Kate & Cindy of B52s vocals, Chris Isaak, The XX.

And music these days - new music - isn't really that 'new' is it ?

Isn't that the case since the second hominid started beating on a hollow log with a rock?

"Neptune," by Foals.  This got recommended to me because I like "Space To Bakersfield", posted earlier.  The two songs are quite similar in some ways, being quite long with extended instrumental interludes in the middle.  Space to Bakersfield has the incredibly lush, rich guitar work, whereas Neptune has a more sparse, stark feel.   I was intrigued by this song so I looked up some more music by Foals and they seem to do mostly Brit-pop in the vein of Kassabian or cut-rate Oasis, that sort of thing. So Neptune is quite far out of their usual range.  The premise seems to be, he feels like the world is collapsing and wants to GTFO while he still can.

Now it's time to go
Through the fields of chrome
The rusted homes, abandoned
Remains of the day
So come row me away
On black rivers and rainbows
To Neptune
Where I can stay

Video features a cold-looking sea shore, with a white horse and black horse running alongside the sea. Seems somewhat biblical. Also starring a crow (shoutout to Corvid Culture thread.)

Anyway, I really liked this.

Pure pop bliss from - where else - the UK in the 1990s.
