1. The 60's freed blacks from segregation (which was good) but also greatly eroded the family unit among most racial groups. Can win 'em all i guess.
2. The solution to this has been abortion. The solution used to be abstinence before marriage. With the advances in birth control there's no excuse for the outcomes in the graph you posted. We created a sick dysfunctional culture of broken families and dead fetuses.
1. I can say that LBJ passed the Civil Rights Act ... which was a major force to removing segregation but I can't find any "Eroding the Family Unit" act.
2. I would say that the "culture" itself created these outcomes, based on what they wanted... ie. freedom.
