Imagine proposing a weighted voting system which said that even though they were a minority in an organization, white votes would be given more weight so that they were never in the minority. The howls from the progressives would echo across Canada and all its lefty politicians would be fuming. But put in place the opposite system, where white votes are counted for less than that of various minority groups, and that's 'progressive'.
