But since we can't measure it, we don't even try to talk about whether things are improving or how we would begin to address how things are changing.. more broadly

So here we have Hitchens, a queer anti-war Trotskyite during his university days in the '60s, drunkenly complaining about Kids These Days in 1994 and this is supposed to be some kind of commentary on Kids These Days in the 2016 (when the clip was posted) that is somehow relevant in 2023?

The lesson here for a normal person is that university/college students have always been pretty cringe, but Shady, having literal feces for brains, thinks this a clever statement on political correctness or something. Hard to say for sure since he's too stupid to actually articulate any of his own ideas which is why he posts memes and clips from cartoons (again, because he literally has excrement for brains).
