The Nazis created their name in 1920 as the National Socialist German Workers' Party. By the 30's they were not socialists and never were much other than using the word and the word "workers" for emotional mass appeal.
Nazis were anti-egalitarian. Nazis were most concerned with what was best for the nation/state, rather than workers as in communism or individual rights like in liberalism.
