I think the left also needs to wake up to how political parties that insincerely hitch their wagons to social justice do more to drag its heels than propel it forward. Take the snails pace of reconciliation or action on climate change for example.

Neither of those things are “woke”, in my opinion.

Otherwise, EVERY political opinion becomes “woke”.

The principle is evolving, as is the resistance to social justice from social conservatives. That's all being woke means, that you're interested in greater social justice.

I don't have any issue with social justice in general.  What's the difference between being progressive and being woke?  What I have a problem with is the hypersensitive stuff like microaggressions or whatnot and treating every organization like its demographics need to reflect the exact proportions of general census population otherwise some injustice has occurred.  I have a problem with teachers removing Homer's The Odyssey from english classrooms because he calls prostitutes in his book ****.  I have a problem with Hollywood constantly shoving a feminist activist agenda in my face when I just want a good story and don't give a crap what the characters look like.  Game of Thrones had strong female characters, I don't think the writers gave a rat about feminist agendas.

I'm tired of some people telling everyone else how they should talk and what they shouldn't say.  STFU you Stalinists, let people say whatever they want and if it makes you uncomfortable then just deal with it.

I think so.  I did hear they sometimes allow the use of a local local anaesthetic when amputating limbs for criminal activity, but for the most part, they like their victims woke.
