Yeah it's almost as if "white's only" comes with a lot of baggage. But also, why would "whites" need a support group?

If the point of such segregation is because some students struggle with their mental health because they think they’re the only ones to go through what they’re going through, and “Having these spaces makes you more confident and say, ‘oh, I’m not alone.”, then I can't see why literally any group can't have them. It's not like that doesn't happen to all types of people.
I suspect I was fairly close to the mark in my original comment. At least for some people, anyway.
I think that, especially in a current university setting, the best thing for people of that age, just starting out on their own, is to integrate. Learn how to get along. It might be the first time many students have found themselves in a truly multicultural setting, and it ought to be part of the experience. It's not as though today's universities are hotbeds of white supremacy.
