And Then There Were None is a mystery novel by the English writer Agatha Christie, described by her as the most difficult of her books to write. It was first published in the United Kingdom by the Collins Crime Club on 6 November 1939, as Ten Little N*****s, after the children's counting rhyme and minstrel song, which serves as a major plot element. The US edition was released in January 1940 with the title And Then There Were None, taken from the last five words of the song. Successive American reprints and adaptations use that title, though Pocket Books paperbacks used the title Ten Little Indians between 1964 and 1986. UK editions continued to use the original title until 1985.

Which question is that?  Btw, books aren't banned in Florida.  You can order anything you want on Amazon, or go to any local book store, or public library, or even read them online.  If you're talking about material in schools, that kind of material has always, and will always be determined acceptable or not, by school boards and governments in every state, province, etc, like it always has been.

Either you're being totally disingenuous on purpose here or you actually have no idea how these things work in practice.

In Florida and places that are following their lead, what's appropriate and acceptable isn't being determined by school boards or government. What's happening is deranged individuals or astroturf groups are mass reporting books (one county pulled more than 80 books after objections from a single person), which means they get pulled from circulation in every school in the district and subjected to a lengthy review process. It is exactly the opposite of what you're describing.
