Almost all my life I hated mornings - except in the summer when on vacation. And now.
I've come to realize what I hated was having to get up early and not when I wanted - even though I get up at the same time every day now, and having to go to school or a job I didn't like. Mornings are fine now.

I love my job and the flexibility.  I loathe working 9-5 and I managed to escape it most of my life.  But now my kid is in school and i'm stuck for a good 10 years or so.  Even tonight I tucked her in she said she loves school but hates mornings... chip of the old block.

I agree though, it's not mornings per se.  It's mornings that way earlier than would be if you had freedom to do the very same thing later in the day.

Mornings are fine, what I hated was shift work.

Mornings have never been something that I'd look forward to per se, but the afternoons are the best time of the day because I leave work at noon. I picked up a scratch ticket, not so lucky today.

I got shoes four days ago.  They were a gift from my parents.  I accidentally (I don't even remember doing it) kicked them off in the porch tonight.  Our bull mastiff lives in there....

You know what I hate? Fredericton drivers. The only worse drivers I've found in Canada are in Montreal.

Have you ever tried merging in Vancouver?

Fredericton drivers don't even know how to merge in a city with roughly 50,000 people.

Go ahead....tell me it's worse in Vancouver.

I don't know, I've never been to Fredericton, but I swear those clueless idiots used to add half an hour to my commute back in the day.

Car chases and drum solos.

What's wrong with car chases?

There is nothing more aggravating than to see a wide open road ahead of you... or actually, ahead of the car in front of you moving along at exactly the speed limit in the passing lane right beside another car in the slow lane. People doing this ought to have their cars taken away.

They're boring.  Just like drum solos.  There's only so much you do with one, without entering the realm of the ridiculous, and it's been done to death.

I liked Bullitt.  Not so much since then.

Drums are for rhythm.  I'd never heard of the Whiplash one so I looked it up.  I just don't see the attraction.

Here's some drums being used properly:

What I hate:  mooks.

There's a mook infestation in the building next door. The bars have emptied, the mooks have staggered home, and are now in the yard outside their apartment shouting "YEEAAAAHHHH budday!" at each other at the top of their lungs, and crushing beer cans on their foreheads, and other mook activities.  Also vaping. Mooks seem to be into vaping.  If they would just stick to vaping and quit yelling at each other and crushing cans, I could live with it. But they're very loud, and I can't sleep.
