This is the best of the Great Courses serious I have heard so far.
Bob Brier loves his specialty and it shows. I am surprised at how interesting this course is until he reminded me that before Greece and Rome there was Egypt.
So true and now I cannot help but see that influence from them into Greco-Roman culture.
It is always interesting listening to lectures - Brier has a NY accent and at times sounds a little like Trump (but in a likable way) and other times like Christopher Walken.
